"Dappledice! Springstorm!" The clan cheered.
"We also have a new apprentice joining us. I have found this rouge, Splotch, on our territory, and he has requested to join ShadeClan. Splotch, from this moment forward, until you get your warrior name, you will be known as Splotchpaw! Your mentor will be Dappledice." she announced.
"Splotchpaw! Splotchpaw!"
"Meeting dismissed!" Fernstar called, leaping from the Highrock.
"Five will venture,
Five will find,
Five will rescue so keep in mind,
One that threatens is
One you trust,
So be faithful in the clan of stars,
If you don't let your faith rust,
The five will save the Shade." a voice whispered into the blind leaders ear.
"What?" she called out. No one replied, but the chilly feeling stayed with Fernstar....

Darkpaw cheered for the new apprentices and warriors, but cocked his head when he saw his leader stand stock for a moment. "What...?" he wondered out loud.

ReplyDeleteFernstar shook her head, and scented Brookpaw and Darkpaw's shock. "I erm.... I'm fine." she meowed quickly.

ReplyDeleteSilentpaw went back in the den right after the anouncement. There is nothing cool or amazing about new cats. especially a new apprentice for all the mentors to go googoogaagaa over. As for Dappledice, and Springstorm, well, it wasn't a big deal. She thought.

Whitepaw cheered as loud as she could. Yay! a new apprentice to train with! I'll try to make friends with him when he comes down to the clearing.

Dappledice felt proud to become a warrior. She had been tired of living the hard life of a rogue.

"Hey Silentpaw where you going" yowld Dawnpaw as she raced to catch up. "Whats the matter don't you like Splotchpaw or something?"she gussed.

"well, I WAS going to take a nap in the apprentice den. I'm really tired." She lied. "But now I'm going to the dirt place." When she turned in the direction of the foul smelling tunnel, She rolled her eyes.
