Apprentices

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!" Fernstar called, leaping atop the Highrock. She let put a warm purr."Skybreeze has told me that Cloudkit and Sweetkit have reached their sixth moon, and that it is their time to become apprentices. Sweetkit, Cloudkit, come forward." she meowed. 

Skybreeze gave her two adoptive kits a lick between their ears before letting them pad beside Fernstar.

"By naming new apprentices, we are showing StarClan and the other clans that we are strong, and will not back  down. Sweetkit, from this moment forward, until you get your warrior name, you will be known as Sweetpaw. Shadowfreeze will be your mentor. Cloudkit from this moment forward, until you get your warrior name, you will be known as Cloudpaw. Silverfrost will be your mentor." 

"Sweetpaw! Shadowfreeze! Cloudpaw! Silverfrost!" ShadeClan called. 

"This meeting is dismissed!" Fernstar called, leaping off of the Highrock.

"Five will venture,

Five will find, 
Five will rescue so keep in mind,
One that threatens is 
One you trust, 
So be faithful in the clan of stars,
If you don't let your faith rust, 
The five will save the Shade...." The prophecy was whispered once again into Fernstar's ear. What does this mean? Oh StarClan, what do you have planned for ShadeClan?
