"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!" Fernstar meowed, feeling her clan gather around the boulder. "Today, we have our deputy, Ashfall joining us! Ashfall, I have no doubt in my mind that you can't serve ShadeClan well! I hope that you can serve as my deputy for many moons to come!" she told the gray-and-brown tabby. She sensed pride rising like the mighty sun within him, and Fernstar let out a purr.
"We also have Ashfall's brother, Sootdaze as a new warrior! Thank you both!" Fernstar meowed. She heard Sootdaze let out a deep purr.
"Ashfall! Sootdaze! Ashfall! Sootdaze!" the cats of ShadeClan declared, their voice ringing through the shady hallow.
"Meeting dismissed!" Fernstar meowed, leaping off of the Highrock to congratulate the two toms.

Ashfall nodded from where he was sitting beside Sootdaze. "Thank you, Fernstar. We won't let you down."
